Reflections of Luxury

This home truly reflects the grandeur of the past while celebrating today’s lifestyle!

The ‘European Manor’ styling features an authentic slate roof and zinc gutters. The exterior walls are sandstone from Valdes Island. Traditional mullioned windows and custom white concrete quoin corners complete the look.

The ‘Wow factor’ starts at the front entry. This outstanding space combines intricate panels, hardwood stairs and flooring and wood-capped glass rails. Glass Bocci lights dance above! The stairwell spans thirty feet from dormer to basement. Gorgeous to look at, the stairway also ensures a natural traffic flow between floors.

Formal rooms are located at the front of the home while a contemporary greatroom layout spans the back. The galley style kitchen is the hub of activity for this family. The nook was eliminated, and the island was extended. This achieved a massive eating bar, plenty of workspace for food preparation and the greatest hang-out place ever! Classic white cabinets reach the eleven-foot high ceiling.

Large marble slabs are used on the countertops, backsplash and the columns. Clever details include hidden Bocci backsplash plugs and diagonally placed, wire mesh mirrored-glass tiles.

The modern, custom-stained oak-veneered panel over the island accommodates mechanical ducting, while making a bold design statement.

‘Greek-Revival’ custom-made traditional mouldings are seen throughout the home. The continuous four-piece panelling proved challenging mathematically but turned out amazing! Wanting a strong connection to outdoor living was achieved by installing two sets of folding glass doors, spanning 40 feet.

Upstairs, the master suite is exceptional. An unused bedroom was incorporated into a walk-in closet yielding a functional, incredibly beautiful space.

Full-on entertaining is the purpose of the lower level.
